Fishing is a very important way of life for the local residents and the restaurants in the port are famous for their huge array of fresh fish and seafood but with so many restaurants to choose from - almonst any cuisine can be found. A 20 minute drive gets you to one of the largest theme parks in Europe 'Terra Mitica' in Benidorm, along with 'Aqualandia' water park, 'Mundomar' animal park and the beautiful waterfalls at Algar.
